This is a really good motor. I got one from an Ebay auction, the auction had a link to this store. VERY VERY powerful motor. I have used it direct drive with a master airscrew 7 x 7 prop on my HET-RC Yak-1 and a 2 cell li-po battery, and an Align 25 amp esc, the plane was easily doing 80+ mph. Allup wieght of the plane was 390 grams, and vertical climbs is no problem. The only drawback I can see for this motor is the shaft, it has a small groove in it for a clip to keep the bell & shaft in place if you use it for a pusher application. BUT, changing the shaft out with a solid piece of 3mm stock is very simple. One of the other outrunners that I have requires me to use a press to remove & install the old shaft. This one has a 1.5 mm set screw on the backside holding the shaft in place. I have also used this motor with 3 cell li-po battereis and some smaller props, 6x4, 5.5 x 4, and 5 x 5. Very good fast results with those set-ups as well. For the money, it is an escellent motor.
